Dr. Justin Jacques is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Addiction Counselor II, Certified Employee Assistant Professional, Nationally Certified Counselor, and Approved Clinical Supervisor. He is also completing his Certified Mental Performance Consultant certification from the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. Currently, Justin is in private practice as mental performance coach at Human Theory Group, the firm he founded in 2020. In the recent past he has been an Account Executive for Behavioral Health and EAP solutions at Anthem/Elevance Health. Dr. Jacques has also been a Student Assistance Professional at Johns Hopkins University, a Counselor III at Penn State University’s Medical School, and a Senior Staff Clinician at The George Washington University. Recently he completed a Ph.D. in counseling at Oregon State University. Justin’s research interests include student athletes, veteran populations, health behavior change, corpus linguistics, and ruptures and repairs in the counseling alliance. Justin has 18 years of mental health experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. Justin specializes in the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, OCD, ADHD, Trauma, and Addictions.
